From Sea to Summit
If there is one continent that shows a variety of landscapes within a small area, it is Europe. From rough coasts in sub-arctic Norway to seemingly endless green forests in the centre of Romania and fields full of cacti on the island Gozo—there is a beautiful scene for every single one of us to enjoy.

The variety of cultural blends in Europe reflects our rich, turbulent and sometimes dark history. Local architecture, monuments and religious places tell a lot about what happened in the past. Explore surprising contrasts and similarities between diverse communities and cultural heritage.
Remoteness
Remoteness shows what lies on the outskirts of our continent. Surprisingly, though, this does not always have to be thousands of kilometres from home. Europe has many hidden ‘corners’ or forgotten structures, still largely unspoilt by the big crowds.
